Tournament Participation
Who can play in these tournaments?
If you’re 18 or older and in Australia or New Zealand, you’re in! Just make sure you follow all our rules.
How do I sign up for a tournament?
Easy! Just head to the current Season page on the website, choose your tournament, and follow the steps. Don’t forget to check in 20 minutes before your game starts.
Can I change my team during the season?
Once you’re part of a team, you stick with them for the whole season. No changes, no substitutions.
What if I can't finish a game?
We understand that disconnections can happen. Each game in our tournaments has its own set of rules regarding disconnections during matches. For detailed information on how these situations are handled, please refer to the “Game Specific Details and Rules” tab on the respective tournament page.
Remember, a stable internet connection is crucial for a smooth gaming experience, so we recommend checking your connection before the match.
Payment and Prizes
What payment methods are available for tournament entry fees, and are there any additional fees?
Joining the battle is just a few clicks away! We now accept payments through PayPal, allowing you to use either your PayPal account or a credit card for secure and convenient transactions. This change ensures a broader range of payment options and enhanced security for your payments.
A small processing fee is added to the entry fee to maximize the prize pool, directly contributing to a more rewarding gaming experience for you. We’re committed to providing not only a thrilling gaming journey but also a seamless payment process.

How and when do I get my prize money?
Win and you’ll see that prize money in your bank account within 7 days after the tournament ends. Just make sure we have your correct bank details.
Tournament Operations
How will I know my tournament entry and payment have been successfully processed, and where can I find the tournament bracket and other entrants?
After completing your tournament entry form and submitting your payment online, which we securely process through PayPal, you will receive a confirmation email from us. This email is your official confirmation of entry into the tournament. Be sure to check your inbox and spam folder to ensure you’ve received this important confirmation.
Regarding the tournament bracket, it will be generated a few days after entries close for each tournament. You can find the bracket on the specific tournament page. We’ll also post an update on our social media channels when the bracket is available.
Please note that we do not disclose who has entered the event until the draw is released. However, you can see the number of available spots remaining at the top of the tournament page while entries are open, giving you an idea of the competition size.
What happens if someone breaks the rules?
Rule breakers are disqualified with no refund. Depending on what happened, they might also face a ban from future events or even legal action.
How are games chosen for each tournament?
We pick games before the season starts to align with our goals. We might change them from season to season and even consider community suggestions for future selections.
How do ranking points work?
Ranking points are specific to each game and season. Winners of each qualifier are removed from the ranking list as they automatically qualify for the season final. The top finishes on the ranking list for each game, after qualifiers, also make it to the season final. Points reset every season, and how you earn them is detailed on each tournament page.
Technical and Player Support
Is there technical support during tournaments?
Yes, we provide Tournament Guides on our Discord Channel for each tournament. These guides explain what’s expected and how things generally run, but they may vary season to season.
How is player conduct monitored?
Our ESC Staff constantly monitors players to ensure everyone follows the rules. If you think something’s been missed, please let us know.
What kind of support does ESC offer for new players?
Welcome aboard, rookies! We’ve got plenty of resources to help you get started, including game guides, strategy tips, and a supportive community on our Discord channel. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need assistance.
Can I use my own gaming gear?
Absolutely! Use any gear you like, as long as it’s not considered a cheating device. Fair play is the name of the game!
Streaming and Viewing
Can I stream my games?
Yes, however, streaming can take up valuable bandwidth. Please only stream and play if your internet connection can easily support it. We also suggest that you use a streaming delay to avoid being stream-sniped.
